Criada para expor o lançamento da Renault, o Duster Oroch, a Cabana Renault – Meu quintal é o mundo teve o desafio de criar um ambiente inovador. O projeto propõe uma habitação compacta e completa dentro do conceito de casas nômades, que pode ser transportada para diversos locais. A ideia se baseia no estilo de vida de pessoas que vivem “pelo mundo”, com espírito aventureiro e forte conexão com a natureza. O projeto nasceu de forma multidisciplinar, colaborativa e criativa. A inspiração veio de um perfil idealizado do “dono do carro”: um jovem de 30 a 40 anos, amante de esportes, curioso por filmagens e fotografia e apaixonado por desbravar o mundo. 

O personagem acabou tomando forma e se materializando na “persona” de Diogo Guerreiro. O surfista possui dois recordes mundiais no Guinness Book: pela mais longa viagem de windsurf já feita no mundo (8120km), entre o Chuí e o Oiapoque, e pela maior jornada oceânica de windsurf (400km), entre Fernando de Noronha e Natal. No currículo, uma volta ao mundo num veleiro, surfe e snowboard em locais remotos do planeta e duas séries na TV. Pensando no Guerreiro e com foco na arquitetura sustentável, optou-se por materiais limpos, sustentáveis e certificados, como a “caixa” que dá forma à casa, construída por sistema Wood Frame, e revestida no exterior com chapas miniwave de alumínio Hunter Douglas. No interior, foi usada madeira de reflorestamento Pinheiro Ellioti carbonizado cinza escuro. Destaque para a movelaria de bambu com o também inédito acabamento emborrachado, e a poltrona revestida em lona de caminhão reciclada.

Os diversos recursos tecnológicos minimizam os impactos ambientais, diminuem o consumo energético e reutilizam materiais e recursos. Há, ainda, produção de energia com os painéis fotovoltaicos, e captação e armazenamento de água das chuvas. Os monitores de televisão foram substituídos pelas esquadrias, da Lohn Esquadrias com perfis de PVC VEKA Brasil, para servir de tela para os projetores. O visitante também poderá encontrar peças do arquiteto e designer Maurício Arruda, como a estante “macacos me mordam”, a mesa “inflamável” e o pufe “seguro”, tudo feito a pedido da própria Renault. Os irmãos Campana também estão no espaço com duas poltronas “Estrela” em aço recortado, desenhadas para “A LOT OF.

Built to expose the launch of Renault, the Duster Oroch, the Renault Cabana - My backyard is the world had the challenge of creating an innovative environment. The project proposes a compact and complete housing within the concept of nomadic houses, which can be transported to various locations. The idea is based on the lifestyle of people who live "around the world", with an adventurous spirit and strong connection with nature. The project was born in a multidisciplinary, collaborative and creative way. The inspiration came from an idealized profile of the "owner of the car": a young man from 30 to 40 years old, sports lover, curious about filming and photography and passionate about breaking the world.

The character ended up taking shape and materializing in the "persona" of Diogo Guerreiro. The surfer has two world records in the Guinness Book: the longest windsurfing trip ever made in the world (8120km), between Chuí and Oiapoque, and the longest windsurfing (400km), between Fernando de Noronha and Natal. In the curriculum, a round the world on a sailboat, surf and snowboard in remote places of the planet and two series on TV. Thinking about the Warrior and focusing on sustainable architecture, we chose clean, sustainable and certified materials such as the "box" that forms the house, built by Wood Frame system, and coated on the outside with Hunter Douglas aluminum miniwave plates. In the interior, it was used wood of reforestation Pine Ellioti carbonizado dark gray. Highlight for the bamboo furniture with the also unpublished rubberized finish, and the armchair covered in canvas of recycled truck.

The various technological resources minimize environmental impacts, reduce energy consumption and reuse materials and resources. There is also energy production with photovoltaic panels, and rainwater capture and storage. The television monitors were replaced by the frames, of Lohn Esquadrias with profiles of PVC VEKA Brazil, to serve as screen for the projectors. The visitor can also find pieces by the architect and designer Maurício Arruda, such as the "monkeys bite me" shelf, the "flammable" table and the "safe" pouf, all done at Renault's own request. The Campana brothers are also in the space with two "Estrela" armchairs in cut steel, designed for "A LOT OF.
